Today I am transitioning to a different targeted chemo protocol at the suggestion of my hematologist.
I do my usual meds between 0400 – 0500 in order for any possible side effects to either present themselves or not so I can at least go outside but sometimes things offer surprises and I stay put.
This type of leukemia treatment is unlike conventional treatment for my other cancer diagnosis in that stopping treatment has a very well pronounced and quick outcome for which I do not wish to experience just yet.
It is a gilded cage, of sorts, from which birds like me can never really break free but I do plan on watching a lot of Netflix and singing on the way out.
