Just spent two days moving a few websites from one webhost to another and this was not a pleasant experience at all.
Some hosts seem to be better than the others for a while then things settle in to monkey business with the billings and running a credit card twice- oh, oops how did that happen? – and all accompanied by a general lack of technical service available without having to listen to a sales pitch first.
Thanks to a corrupted backup system for migrating site content on the part of the old host, I am now going through trying to piece together as many of the old posts as I can.
I’m just going outside today no matter what. The cabin is a little bit old.
