Train of Thought

I wondered if I would be the only person in Philadelphia who would want a souvenir copy of the Washington Post on this particular Sunday.

The only place I know in town to buy a Post is the 30th Street train station and realizing I am not all that clever nor all that smart, I couldn’t be the only one with this particular idea on this particular morning.

So I caught the 6:30 train downtown to 30th Street Station arriving at 7:00 AM and found myself helping the newsstand workers unbundle the New York Times and New York Post papers so we could get to the Washington Post copies which were inconveniently on the bottom of the stack.

I looked around and saw there was a group of people who were all that clever and all that smart lining up behind me.

No. I wasn’t the only one with this particular idea on this particular morning.

Now some awful Dunkin’ Donuts coffee and the ride back home.
