I had but one job today: visit with my onco team downtown for a checkup of my cancer status. and a quick antigen test for the virus.
But the hurricane that knocked out our power for two days- and, we were lucky it was only two days- also managed to knock a dredge crane and its two muck barges from their moorings on the Schuylkill River…
…which caused a shutdown on I-676 across town…
… which caused SEPTA to cancel trains- yes, mine included- to 30th Street Station…
… which leaves me feeling like the lede image.
So, I drive the car into town. That should only take about all day.
